Our Story

This is the story of how and why confiDense was started told by the  founder Amrish Rajput himself. Here's a picture of his hair with and without hair fibres:

I've been losing my hair since I was just 15 years old and it affected my own confidence. I used to look in the mirror and wonder...

"Why me?"

"Why is this happening to me?" 

My dad has male pattern baldness so a part of me always knew that I would lose my hair one day, but I never ever thought that it would start from such a young age.

I went through years of school, college and university feeling as though people were looking at my hair and judging me for not having it.

When people at school noticed they would ask me things like

“How come you’re losing your hair?”

and

“Are you going bald?”

That just made it worse because I instantly knew that people could see it and it was noticeable.

So eventually I thought,

"What can I do about this?"

I went to see the doctor. He told me the most likely cause for my hair loss was hereditary - male pattern baldness which I knew but the key thing was that there was little they could do about it - other than recommend I use medication.

I gave it a go, but I was young and impatient at the time, maybe it was working, maybe it wasn’t, I don’t know.

I couldn’t tell if my hair was coming back, so like most people I gave up.

A few years later, I got to the point where I’d had enough, I couldn't see a solution.

My brother’s wedding was coming up and I thought to myself,

"After the wedding I’m going to shave it all off as I’ve had enough of it."

The problem was and still is that I love having hair and didn’t want to get rid of it.

Shortly after the wedding I came across hair fibres and EVERYTHING changed.

I started using the fibres and I couldn’t believe the difference; I had a full head of hair again.

I was so excited I took a picture and sent it to my girlfriend. She loved it too and from that day I started using hair fibres as often I could.

It makes such a difference, especially in pictures. I used to hate being in pictures because when the flash would go off, the light would go straight through my hair and you could see my scalp even more than normal making my hair loss look even worse than it was.

But with the hair fibres in, that was no longer the case, my hair looks normal in photos now, I once hated being in photos, now I love it, I’m so happy with my hair that my smile is even bigger these days!

I know exactly how you feel, because that’s how I used to feel, I now want to help as many people like us to smile once again and not think about their hair loss.

The feeling I get when I look at my hair now with hair fibres in it, is exactly how I want you to feel, that’s why I created confiDense.

With it in my hair I don’t think about it anymore, I walk down the street happier and feel great in the knowledge no one knows about my hair loss and is going to judge my hair, they won’t look at me and think

“What’s happened to his hair?”

That feeling of being self-conscious about my hair is gone, instead I feel amazing!

I managed to pull together what money I had and started confiDense, since 2015 we have helped over 5,000 people in 30 countries look and feel better about their own hair!
